Freyja - Founder and Owner

Freyja is usually wearing dozens of hats to keep the business running and thriving, consulting with customers about custom orders and unique designs, and coordinating between engineering, R&D, manufacturing, supply chains, instructions, and helpful content, and is constantly thinking about creative solutions and upgrades to make domes even more awesome.  
She is also passionate about land stewardship,  with the community project Phoenix Farm as her legacy project, striving for sustainable living and food forest design. 

In her free time, she likes to hang out with her teenage daughter, attend contact improvisation jams, and go on paragliding, hiking and paddle boarding adventures with her husband.

The Creator


Krysta - Administrator

Krysta is the administrator for the company, who supports Freyja, in our West Coast office. She enjoys the variety of tasks and continual learning that her role brings. Such as prepping accessory orders, ordering/stocking inventory, online correspondence/filing and keeping the office well organized. Krysta is committed to clear communication, attention to detail, improving procedures and providing excellent customer service.

She is dedicated to healthy living and enjoying her life to the fullest! Krysta has a passion for dance, writing, cooking, swimming in the ocean, event planning and being actively involved in her community. She enjoys the solitude of nature and is grateful to be living on one the most beautiful islands in the world - in a fully upgraded Phoenix Dome!

The Administrator


Tanner - Sales Manager

Tanner is the Sales Manager at Phoenix Domes and a long-time resident of Salt Spring Island. Community is central to his life; he has lived in numerous communities around the world and is deeply committed to nurturing meaningful relationships. With a background as a retreat chef, he has a deep appreciation for nourishing food, thoughtful hospitality and well-held spaces. He is an avid practitioner of dance and meditation, as well as a dedicated entrepreneur who founded his own Guayusa Tea company. At Phoenix Domes, Tanner connects people with the perfect dome solutions, guiding dream projects from first conversation to final build.

He brings a warm, people-first approach to everything he does.

The Ambassador


Colline - Coordinator

Colline takes pride in getting things done right. As a Sales Assistant and Logistics Coordinator at Phoenix Domes, she ensures shipments go out on time and nothing falls through the cracks. She double-checks everything, not because she has to, but because it’s one of her ethics. She doesn’t shy away from challenges; she sees them as opportunities to grow. For Colline, it’s not just about ticking off tasks; it’s about ensuring things run smoothly and efficiently.

She’s an introvert who loves spending time with her family and closest friends. She and her family love to try different food spots and dishes. One therapeutic thing they do is go on a nature trip, a beach trip, or a night stroll. As a full-time and working mom, her “me time” on her rest day is sleeping for long hours and binge-watching good series.

The Coordinator


Ciara - Marketing Director

Ciara is the creative engine behind Phoenix Domes’ marketing. She manages the social media channels, creates fresh content, runs Google Ads, and keeps the website up to date with new blogs, customer highlights, and all the little details that make the brand feel alive and current.

She also puts together the monthly newsletters and loves reconnecting with past clients, inviting them to be featured on the customer map and spotlighted in the newsletter so the growing Phoenix Domes community can be celebrated and shared.

Outside of work, Ciara is a mom of two boys, ages 18 and 2. She helps out at her brother’s spa during her free hours and loves traveling with her kids to eat good food, relax, and slow down together. With an avid bookworm at home, she enjoys quiet study time with her eldest, often with her two-year-old happily joining in the fun.
