Tucked in the forested mountains of Gold Bar, Washington, Sky Valley Escape offers guests a chance to reconnect with nature in one of the most scenic corners of the Pacific Northwest. Overlooking Mount Baring and just a short drive from Wallace Falls, this 3-acre property is home to a 7m geodesic dome used for glamping, creative retreats, and private events.
But here's the twist:
The dome wasn't built by Phoenix Domes.
Yet when it came time to upgrade the performance, comfort, and longevity of their space, Sky Valley Escape turned to us, specifically for our Hybrid Glass Panorama Window retrofit.
A Strategic Retrofit That Changed Everything
Like many dome owners, Jonathan (Sky Valley’s founder) initially used the standard vinyl panorama window that came with his dome. Over time, it became clear that vinyl wasn’t built to last—especially in a climate that shifts from snow to sun.

By choosing our Hybrid Glass Panorama Window, made from double-pane, argon-filled, Low-E glass, Jonathan completely transformed the dome experience for guests, without needing to replace the structure.
