Backyard Dome Retreat in the Forest

"I like to come out here sometimes, I might watch a movie, drink a glass of wine, it's a little hideaway for me. I think my favourite part of the dome would be the window and all the natural light coming in, it just feels very serene."

CROWDS FLOCK TO THE YOGA DOME

"We’ve been operating as a studio now for just under 3 months and we’ve already seen hundreds of students from all over our region. We have nothing like it around our area and people are coming from near and far to check it out. Some have even traveled from several hours away just to experience a class in the Yoga Dome!"

"People are absolutely blown away when walking into our dome. We love how people’s eyes light up when they walk into the space. Especially when we do yoga classes with StarGazing projectors. Projecting waves and stars onto the fabric of the dome has made for some amazing yoga events."

The Sissiboo Goes All In On *FOUR* Glamping Domes

They’re got two up and running already, with two more in preparation for launch this summer. Their first 20’ Dome they ordered from China… and were not about to make that mistake again. They went with our 23’/7m 4-Season Glamping Packages after that.

Would Sonya recommend taking the leap on similar ventures?

“YES!!! Unique destinations are popular right now and with the pandemic people are staying closer to home. With proper business planning it is a quick return on investment. This has been an amazing experience and we have learned a lot to do and not do.”

Phoenix Dome Unfazed By Worst Hurricane Ever to Hit Atlantic Coast

- - -

- - -

"Day 6 No Power… Hurricane Fiona, you were a force to be reckoned with!!!
With winds hitting about 140km/h, huge tidal surges and a crazy amount of damage all around our beautiful community, we are soooooo grateful it was only trees that were damaged and super amazed in the strength of these domes 💪🏼
Even though these 4-season dome packages are created to withstand heavy winds/rain/snow, we really didn’t know what to expect since being so new. So to let everyone know, since being asked so many times recently (thanks to everyone for checking up) “How did the domes make out?”
…Well they made out PERFECTLY!
Zero damage in what’s now called the worst hurricane to hit Atlantic Canada…
That’s impressive!!"

Don't just take their word for it though...

Elevating Yoga Experiences in a Dome Studio

"When seeking building options for our yoga space, the dome checked all the boxes and so much more! We were looking for something that is open, customizable, efficient, economical, and that we could build ourselves."

- - -

- - -

"As a bonus, the dome was great for our application as we found how it inspires creativity in those that join daily classes and retreats. The large window was amazing to take in the beauty of the natural environment outside while appreciating the architectural masterpiece inside."

A Budding Dome Village on the Quisibis River

Bruno and Roxanne in NB have three Domes up and running, and they’re not slowing down anytime soon. With three more on the way and due to start construction in June 2022, their wilderness glamping experiences will doubtless refresh and reconnect hundreds of visitors this year alone.

“The biggest benefits have to be our clients' comments after living the experience. They want to come back, they want to tell everyone how much they enjoyed the experience, how relaxing it was, & that everyone should do it! It's the best reward for us & the best publicity for the business.”

Native Shoes - Pop-up Showroom in a Dome

"We set up a 20' Phoenix Dome at Big White Ski Resort, in BC, for Native Shoes to have a lounge to create brand awareness during the SnowboardCross World Cup. The Dome was super cozy in the snow and a lovely lounge space! We had a clear vision of what we wanted our event activation to look like, and we were thrilled to have worked with Phoenix Domes to make our vision come to life. While it takes a bit of effort and time to set up, the geodesic dome was the highlight of our activation and provided a beautiful space to showcase our product and brand."

GLAMPING: A HUGE HIT IN NEW BRUNSWICK

"We did have a big waitlist before opening the domes! The public was very eager to book with us, and the loft seems to be a huge hit. The guests are really pleased to have two beds in the dome, and the loft gives them some privacy."

- - -

- - -

"We also have a bathroom equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet (and a door...) in each dome that the guests appreciate. The kitchen has a bar sink, coffee maker, hot plate, microwave, and mini-fridge available, as well as pots & pans, dishes, and dish towels. We also added a BBQ outside each dome for guest use."

- - -

- - -

"Overall the response thus far has been overwhelmingly positive. The guests love looking out the window at the forest (and the private hot tub on each deck), and having the amenities of a hotel in a camping environment."

PHOENIX DOMES IN THE NEWS!

HIGH-END DOME EXPERIENCE AT WILD SKIES RESORT IN MANITOBA

- - -

Wild Skies Resort + Event Venue has garnered a lot of interest in their Phoenix Domes, and most notably, from the Winnipeg Free Press:

"The leaves of the aspens tremble overhead, framed by a skylight at the peak of this geodesic dome. Then the stars enter the scene, twinkling against an indigo sky. There’s one last sweet song from a white-throated sparrow before everyone falls asleep for the night. And this, my friends, is what you can expect from a night in a dome at Wild Skies Resort."

- - -

- - -

"Wild Skies Resort + Event Centre sits on 10 acres along the Whitemouth River just east of Beausejour and has brought bona fide glamping to Manitoba. Three geodesic domes offer everything you expect in a luxury hotel along with private decks, river access, evening campfires and most notably, priceless views. Each dome boasts its own outdoor shower — a cedar lined, tree-surrounded, view-to-the-sky affair that may make you linger."

BIRCHWOOD'S RESTFUL DOME, AN HOUR FROM TORONTO

- - -

"When you think of camping, you usually associate the idea with warm summer nights by a fire roasting marshmallows. If you miss the fun of camping during the winter, well you're in luck because you can go camping in a dome in this small town near Toronto. Located in Port Perry, the heated camping dome is only about an hour's drive northeast of Toronto."

- - -

"Birchwood is offering you a luxury camping experience, complete with a queen-sized bed, a kitchenette to make meals in, and even free WiFi. The geodesic dome has floor-to-ceiling windows giving you a view of the surrounding forest during the day and the stars at night."
